A contracting partner in decommissioning projects, Peterson SBS (PSBS) operates the Greenhead base at Lerwick Harbour, providing the necessary infrastructure and facilities for decommissioning operations. PSBS also undertakes all transport and logistics operations, including load-in of structures.

Peterson SBS (formerly SBS Logistics) is a leading contractor in its field and has been servicing the offshore oil and gas industry from Lerwick since the early 1970’s. Today the Greenhead Base is one of a number it operates in the UK and The Netherlands.

Available cranage includes a 250 tonne Demag Mobile; a 110 tonne Eiger Crawler; and a 40 tonne Leibherr Mobile. Local haulage & transport includes Artics, trailers, low-loaders; forklifts up to 15 tonne; load-alls; and manlift.

Plant including heavy cranage and specialist equipment is also available from other Peterson SBS sites in the UK, and from third parties. Additional labour can be hired, as required.
